An introduction and explanation of the Simple Rating System can be found at the start of my GW17 article.
This is the last predictions article for ChampManFPL. Does anyone have a tissue? I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for everyone that was involved in the game and thanks to the great community which I had a lot of fun interacting with.
Let’s go over GW37 predictions and results:

9/11 correct predictions. Nice one, a lot of hard games that the model was able to predict correctly, and some of the margins are spot on. West Ham keep trolling the model in the last few weeks, a little too late I would say. Check out the predictions of the Sun, Liv, Lee and Mid wins. Spot on.
1/3 correct recommendations. After 2 weeks of perfect recommendations we’re going back to the ground with only 1 correct recommendation. Emerson trolled me hard, after his massive hauls I brought him in for the double and he returned 1 point. Keane amazingly didn’t participate in any of Leeds 5 goals and was very disappointing. I do take a lot of pride by calling Arca’s CS + Assist, unfortunately he was not in my team…

GW38 Predictions:
I can’t believe this is the last time I’m doing this. It’s been a hell of a ride and I will be publishing (with Whitebeard) FPL (as in Fantasy Premier League) content next season. We will have the SRS and I will also be doing player comparisons on stats and eye test. If you are interested in those, please follow me or drop me a message so I know there’s interest.
Going back to our main event, GW38, where nothing is decided but our own FPL standings. We have some very interesting match-ups and only one away win predicted. Let’s take a closer look on 3 of them
First player to recommend this week is R Giggs. I wanted to recommend him for a long time but was generally afraid of rotation most of the time. According to d1sable this will not be a rep game, so I feel comfortable recommending the best left winger of all time. Utd have the highest predicted margin this week (-1.8) and they are away from home! I’ve mentioned West Ham trolling, but I don’t see how they can match a Utd full strength lineup.
Second player to recommend this week is T Henry. This might be the first time I’m tipping the French legend. I only owned Henry this season for his double GW hattrick, and I have the feeling he is due another massive haul this week. Arsenal have the 2nd highest predicted margin with (1.5) I need a replacement for Owen, and he might be the one.
Third player to recommend is M Jansen. Yes, it is him again. But what can I do, the model believes in Blackburn and I believe in Matt. I kept him precisely for this game, and Sunderland, possibly without Phillips are a great target away from home. I don’t remember UEFA cup qualification rules back in 02, but Blackburn needs to win to keep their 5th place. With a predicted margin of (1.2) I can see this as a 3-1 with Jansen being involved.
